Down at the Farm11012020Prep for Fromm Family Holiday Celebration 2020Thank you COVID 19007

To say that the farm is a special place for our family is a slight understatement, no it is an enormous understatement. We look for any reason we can to be there to enjoy the piece and quiet, and to enjoy good quality family time. More often than not, we are down there to mow or perform some other chores, but no matter the reason, we love to be there.

This year, the pandemic gave us another excuse to celebrate with family at the farm. Due to restrictions on gatherings, Mom came up with the idea of celebrating both Thanksgiving and Christmas at the farm. It would be a crap shoot, the weather doesn't always cooperate this time of year, but if we had to be inside, there was ample room inside the shed to do the proper social distancing. We had just recently wired in some lighting, and with a couple of generators, we were able to provide enough electricity to plug in heaters and crock pots for the food.

This gallery is a collection of images taken during the set up prior to the event. There was a lot of doubt during the decision making process, and we all worried about the weather. As it turned out, the weather was perfect, everybody got to enjoy being outdoors, and the kids loved the ability to just run around and have fun.

In my mind, this is the perfect place for family celebrations, and I think we will see more of this in the future. Thank you covid-19 and the pandemic for forcing our hand, and opening up our eyes to the possibilities at the farm.
