Farming is an interesting life choice. Being able to spend time at Mom's farm is such a treat, an escape from the crazy world we have today.
It also offers a chance to get a closer look at the process of planting, growing and harvesting a crop. Riding in the combine, the tractor pulling the grain cart, and riding the truck with a load to drop off at the storage facility was a true blast. I have also had the pleasure of riding in a tile placing machine, and a sprayer. One of these days, I hope to hook up to go along during planting time. I hope the pics in this gallery give you a little insight into the process of harvesting corn.
