One of the most under rated state parks in the state, Jim Edgar Panther Creek has it all. Beautiful scenery, tucked into an agricultural area, outdoor recreation in the form of hunting, fishing, camping and boating (canoe and kayak, small fishing boats), make this a must add to your Illinois Road Trip Bucket List. (just an idea, but put this one at the top of the list)
